Courtrooms at Browns Covent Garden
Built in 1908, The Courtrooms have previously been host to some of the most established judges in English history, who have acquired their notable law reputations in these very rooms right up until the end of the century. Now, of course, the rooms are used to host fabulous, tailor-made events. Please read the descriptions & view the images below to pick the one that will work best for you.
Judge's Court
This is the largest of the four Courtrooms. It can seat a maximum of 100 diners or 150 people seated theatre style. It is a grand and elegant room with many original features such as the mahogany judge’s bench and press boxes, giving it lots of dated English character.

Barrister's Court
This is the second largest of our four rooms and can seat up to 48 diners and 70 people for drinks and canapés. It features beautiful skylights, chandeliers and the original judge’s bench, perfect if you’re looking for an ornate setting in which to celebrate.

Judge's Chamber
The Judge’s Chamber can be hired individually or joined up with the judge’s study as well. On its own it can seat up to 40 diners and can accommodate 70 people standing for drinks and canapés. This makes it ideal for a more close-knit business meeting or dinner party.

This is a small and intimate space that can seat up to 12 people. The study is perfect if you’re looking to put a personal touch on your event, be it a private business meeting or extra-special dinner.
